Where I come from
As you can tell from my name, I am originally from Romania, where I lived until the end of the last millenium (dinosaurs roamed the earth…). The first 20 years of my life were spent under the dictatorship of Nicolae Ceausescu. Life was probably not as harsh as most Americans imagine, however it was no walk in the park either.

Woodworking (and generally making things) helps me unwind after work. While I’m not in the workshop as often as I’d like, I still manage to crank out fun projects. Click on the image to see a gallery.
I enjoy practicing Taekwondo with my youngest son, even as it involves the long drive back and forth to Olney. Our studio has fostered an amazing family atmosphere and is packed with wonderful people. Come join us and take your day’s frustrations out on a punching bag.
